Do you remember a comics strip in the Gazette a while back? How a guy scratches through heaps of tickets without getting anything and then a girl buys just one ticket and wins?

My previous two attempts with just3 tickets in total didn't produce much, so I gave up on it. However, today I was feeling like not clicking mouse buttons for a while and the tickets mostly only need to move the mouse...

So, today I bought 290 tickets. 26th one brought me 200k (90-90). Let's see about the rest!

(P.S. An exercise in statistics - knowing the rules, what are the chances of any given ticket being a winner? What is the probability that no tickets in a batch of 100 are winning? How many tickets do I need for a 95% chance of having at least one winning ticket? Will they cost more than 200k?)

You know how people often cry in the chat "Oh, that quest is impossible!"? I'm guilty of that, as well

Well, five times out of ten they are talking about the puzzles of Enigmatus the wise, the mainland... mage? I don't know, he lives in a tower, has some wizardy stuff and a lot of a thinker's manner, but is he a magic doer? I don't know...

Anyway, 5 of 10 moaners are people faced with his puzzles, 2 or 3 more have trouble with a him-related quest, so he surely is one of the most talked-about Non-Pitying-Characters in NEaB!

Non-pitying because he never gives a hint ;) Especially not with the knight puzzle (the only hint you'll ever find is the wiki hint to watch out for hard to reach spots)! You'll learn why that is so after you finish the puzzle...

This is the big news! I did it! My knight must've finally got through to my unconscious mind, because, finally, after countless walks and charges around the chess lawn, I magically saw the knight move just so and the puzzle working! Like a dream... No asking, no cheatsheets, just two versions of "lookwhereyouaregoing, don'tgetstuckinacorner and lettheeasiertoreachcellstakecarofthemselves"... The real trick is to figure out some move patterns and do it till you go on autopilot :)

I did the knight puzzle! Yay! *dances lambada on the roof of Enigmatus' tower*

Tried to get from Enigmatus. When avoiding monsters failed, tried to run. My dog helped by (sometimes) standing in monsters' way and giving me a spare turn. After running away became too troublesome (that is, escape succeded after 20 tries!), I used an Earth recall to get away.

By the way, the monsters there look so innocent. Who would've thought that a pretty girl might have such a tongu-breaking name! Not mentioning 800+ HP and a hit I didn't dare to try out. My hit would probably be absorbed - didn't dare to stayt close enough to check that, either.

The Earth Gluers suggested I kill a Levitaor guy, which I didn't like (especially after the treaty I made yesterday), so I used a second return ticket to get back to Earth. The first I used yesterday, when I got stuck in the middle of a forest after getting back to surface... 3 more returns left. Guess how many times I died on a player island? To the one who guesses correctly, I will send a mythril nugget :D

Now, I want to get some money, talk to the guy in green at Glum&Parrot's, buy a shop, buy an impbox and check out my concession. A lot to do, considering homework as well ;) Bye for now!

Got a dungeon room from joshuelavid. Nice room.

Got to the centre of the Earth and back alive with 111462 gold in my pocket (entered with hardly a thousand). Won the blackjack with 10 bet once, 500 bet once, 50 bet - never, won the roulette once, won the vending machine (2 coins) - lost count. Brought back more than 1500 iron ingots, 200 gold, 20 mythril and 148 platinum (since 10 went to Earth Gluers). Got a couple of Unilashes. Nice day.

Thanks to the kind NEaBian by the name of Allucard, who supplied me with mythril weapons and armour for a couple of iron ingots :)

Upd: sold a lot of ingots to Baobab. Now have 260k for the Impbox. Just a bit more... And try getting to the centre from Enigmatus's mine, rather than from the old ones.
